la dolce vita for moody monday

i usually reserve this level of intimacy for my daily journals
but i am in a chatty mood tonight and i haven't been shooting much opulance lately.
i celebrated both new years & my birthday (2 weeks apart) alone this year
(don't ask, it was a misguided attempt to create something that wasn't there)
but as you can see, i treat myself well when i need to:
